Job Description: PT Employee position as an Activities Coordinator. This position will provide assistance to the Activities Coordinator in the development and implementation of a variety of activities associated with the IDD population at the Monroe, NC location.
- Assist with research and planning ideas for programs and activities based on individual preferences;
- Assist IDD individuals by explaining steps and meaning at their level of comprehension;
- Interact with each individual with respect and dignity.
- Transporting individuals participating in off-site programs as needed.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age or older. A high school diploma or GED is required. A valid driver’s license with a good driver record is required. Employment is conditional on background verification and passing drug screen. Experience working with special needs population is required.
